Yaan Lithium signs battery grade lithium raw materials supply deal with CATL

Yaan Lithium, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sichuan Yahua Industrial Group Co., Ltd., has reached an agreement to supply battery-grade lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate to Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) from January 2026 to December 2028, with the annual procurement amount and pricing to be agreed by the two sides.
Yahua Group said in the statement that it began directly supplying CATL with lithium raw materials from March 2023. As of the end of last year, Yahua Group had reached similar deals of roughly RMB105 million (USD14.79 million) with CATL, accounting for about 11% of its annual sales of lithium salts.
