Nandu Huabo to expand lithium battery materials recycling project

Anhui Nandu Huabo New Material Technology Co., Ltd. plans to expand production capacity of its effective and environmental-friendly lithium battery materials recycling project, according to an environmental impact assessment (EIA) recently released by the environmental authority in Jieshou, Anhui.
The company plans to utilize the existing plants at the high-tech industrial development zone in Jieshou to build the project, which will upgrade and expand its recycling line for lithium battery with new concentration system and lithium extracting facilities.
When completed, the expansion project will add annual processing capacity of 60,000t of waste lithium battery and materials to produce about 3,000t of battery with cascade utilization, 11,000t of lithium carbonate and 4,800 tonnes of LFP cathode material annually.
