Chengxin inks deal for 40ktpa lithium salt project

On June 6, Chengxin Lithium reached an agreement with Shehong municipal government to develop a 3,000tpa lithium metal project and a 40,000tpa lithium salt project.
On the same day, Suining city and Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture also signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation. Under the agreement, Shenzhen Shengtun Group Co., Ltd. will build a 2Mtpa lithium ore mining and dressing project in Yangjiang, Ganzi, with an annual production capacity of around 620,000t of lithium concentrate, which will be used for the 40,000tpa lithium salt project to be built in Shehong.
