Huayou Holding to build 800ktpa LFP project in Bijie

Huayou Holding Group has entered into an agreement with the government of Bijie, a city in China's Guizhou Province, to build a phosphorus coal chemical integration project with annual production capacities of 1.5 million tonnes of iron phosphate, 800,000 tonnes of LFP, 1 million tonnes of DMC, 5 million tonnes of coking products, 500,000 tonnes of methyl alcohol produced out of coke oven gas, 800,000 tonnes of synthesis ammonia and 1 million tonnes of hydrogen peroxide.
The project consists of three phases and the total investment amounts to RMB73 billion (USD10.08 billion), including RMB24.3 billion (USD3.36 billion) for the phase one with annual capacities of 500,000 tonnes of iron phosphate, 250,000 tonnes of LFP, 2 million tonnes of coking products, 300,000 tonnes of synthesis ammonia and 300,000 tonnes of hydrogen peroxide.
When fully operational, the project would achieve an annual production value of more than RMB120 billion (USD16.57 billion) and help create over 14,000 jobs.
