Chinese PrNd oxide prices keep stable

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Apr 24 - Due to fluctuations in price recently, more downstream consumers preferred to wait and see the market rather than make purchases. Today, mainstream prices for Chinese PrNd oxide stood at RMB380,000-385,000/t (USD52,501-53,191/t) D/P, in line with yesterday. As suppliers intends to firm their prices, insiders reckoned that prices for Chinese PrNd oxide would hover at the current level in the coming two days.
A trader in Guangdong indicated that he offered RMB386,000/t (USD53,330/t) D/P for PrNd oxide today, and would not sell the material at lower prices. "I sold 20t at RMB386,000/t (USD53,330/t) D/P today and 10t at RMB385,000/t (USD53,191/t) yesterday. I almost received no enquiries this morning and began to receive enquiries this afternoon, which I think is a sign that people are beginning to accept the current price." the trader said, predicting that prices for PrNd oxide would keep unchanged at the current level.
With a regular monthly trade volume of 200t, the trader sold about 180t last month.
A producer in Jiangsu revealed that he offered RMB385,000/t (USD53,191/t) D/P for PrNd oxide today, and sold more than 10t at this price. "I sold about 5t of PrNd oxide yesterday at RMB385,000/t (USD53,191/t) D/P," the producer said, adding that despite the fluctuations in prices yesterday, prices for PrNd oxide would keep relatively stable in the following days in view of the enquiries and deals today.
With an annual production capacity of 1,500t, the producer produced about 25t last month and expects to produce 30t this month.
