Yahua's spodumene project in Zimbabwe begins phase one production

On April 12, Yahua Group held the commissioning ceremony for Kamativi Mining Company's 2.3Mtpa spodumene mining and processing project (Phase One) in Zimbabwe.
As the first large mining project developed by Yahua Group in Africa, Kamativi project began resource exploration and washability experimental study in September 2022 and took just over a year to commence phase one operation. The second phase of the project is expected to become operational by June 2024 when the whole project would have a mining and processing capacity of 2.3Mtpa of raw ore, which would help Yahua Group to improve self-sufficiency rate of lithium ore, reduce lithium salts product cost, boost competitiveness and further move toward globalization.
