BTR Hong Kong and Stellar to build 80ktpa anode material project in Indonesia

BTR (Hong Kong) New Material Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BTR New Material Group Co., Ltd., plans to enter into an agreement with Singapore-based Stellar Investment Pte. Ltd. to increase capital to their joint venture Indonesia BTR New Energy Material and build the second phase of lithium battery anode material project with a production capacity of 80,000 tonnes per annum and the total planned investment for the project is around USD299 million.
Under the agreement, BTR Hong Kong and Stellar Investment will inject USD62.79 million and USD41.86 million respectively to Indonesia BTR, and BTR Hong Kong will still hold a 60% stake in the joint venture upon completion of the capital increment.
