    China grants first rare earth production quotas for 2024

    China has set the first batch of rare earth production quotas for 2024, including 135,000 tonnes for mining and 127,000 tonnes for smelting and separation, according to a circular jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
