China finds massive lithium resources in Yajiang

China has identified nearly one million tonnes of lithium resources in Yajiang, Sichuan and it is believed to be the largest lithium-bearing pegmatite deposit ever discovered in Asia, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.
China has taken measures such as advancing the transfer of lithium mining blocks to increase supply of lithium ore as the country seeks to speed up lithium resource exploration, boost reserves and promote the high-quality development of lithium battery new energy materials industry.
