HEC New Energy wins exploration right for Shixi Al-Li deposit

Guizhou HEC New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Guangdong HEC Technology Holding Co., Ltd., has won the auction of a five-year exploration right covering an area of 17.127 square kilometers at Shixi polymetallic deposit containing lithium in Tongzi, Guizhou for RMB4.29 million (USD59.85 million).
The company said obtaining the exploration right is a strategic move which is expected to expand its lithium battery materials industrial chain, ensure supply and reduce costs, so as to boost competitiveness and profitability.
