Zijin Mining reports increased production of copper, zinc and lead in 2023

Zijin Mining recently disclosed the preliminary production results of major products in 2023. The company produced 1.01 million tonnes of mined copper and 720,000 tonnes of refined copper in the year, up by 11% and 4% respectively from 2022.
In 2023, the company's production of mined zinc (lead) increased by 3% YoY to 467,000 tonnes, and that of refined zinc ingot increased by 5% YoY to 330,000 tonnes.
The company added production of 2,903 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) in 2023, compared with no output in the prior year.
