Sichuan Shuneng Mineral's 50ktpa LFP project finishes construction

On October 31, Sichuan Shuneng Mineral completed the construction of all production lines at its 50,000tpa lithium iron phosphate (LFP) project, which is now in the commissioning phase.
The project, covering about 32Mu (8.78 hectares), is located in Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan. It kicked off production in November 2022 and put the first production line into trial run on July 28, 2023. The project is scheduled to complete final acceptance before the end of this year and become fully operational in the first quarter of 2024.
The project is capable of producing 50,000tpa of high-performance LFP cathode material when reaching full capacity and would help create more than 300 jobs.
