CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel product output records 2.19Mt in late Aug

Major Chinese steel mills produced 24.12 million tonnes of steel products during the last eleven-day period of August when the daily output was around 2.19 million tonnes, up by 1.75% from the previous ten-day period of the month, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
During late August, major Chinese steel mills held steel product inventory of around 14.72 million tonnes, a decline of 1.91 million tonnes or 11.46% from mid August.
