Zijin Mining reports record H1 production of mined copper, zinc and lead

Zijin Mining reported a steady rise in production capacity and record production of major mined products in the first half of 2023.
According to the semi-annual report, the company produced 853,528t of copper in the H1 2023, up by 9.8% from a year ago, including 492,241t of mined copper and 361,287t of refined copper, up by 14.12% and 4.32% YoY respectively.
During the first half, the company produced 394,614t of zinc, up by 6.29% from the prior year period. The output included 217,210t of zinc in concentrate, up by 4.26% YoY, and 177,405t of refined zinc, up by 8.89% YoY. The company produced 22,929t of lead in concentrate during the period, up by 12.80% YoY. The combined H1 production of zinc and lead in concentrate was around 240,000t, up by 5.02% from a year ago.
The company also produced 1,293t of lithium carbonate equivalent in H1 2023.
