100ktpa MnFeP precursor project to break ground in Xifeng, China

On July 21, the investment contract signing ceremony was held in Guiyang for the 100,000tpa MnFeP precursor project developed by Shanghai Jinyuansheng New Energy Co., Ltd.
According to the agreement, the project will be located at the phosphorus coal chemical ecological industrial base in Xifeng, with total investment estimated at RMB1.2 billion (USD168 million). Phase one of the project, with production capacity of 30,000tpa of MnFeP precursor, is scheduled to break ground in August 2023 before commencing production by the end of 2024. The second phase will add capacity of 70,000tpa and is expected to become operational by the end of 2025. When in full capacity, the project would achieve annual production value of RMB1.6-2 billion (USD224-280 million).
