CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel product output records 2.17Mt in mid-Jul

Major Chinese steel mills reported steel product output of 21.69 million tonnes during the second ten-day period of July when the daily output averaged 2.17 million tonnes, up by 3.34% from the previous ten-day period, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
During mid-July, major Chinese steel mills held steel product inventory of around 15.67 million tonnes, a decrease of 229,900 tonnes or 1.45% from the prior ten-day period.
