200ktpa LFP project put into operation in Shiyan, China

Haoshuo New Energy Industrial Park located in Shiyan High-tech Zone recently finished construction and went into operation. The project, with investment of RMB3.15 billion (USD438 million), has an annual production capacity of 200,000t of lithium iron phosphate (LFP), a cathode material for lithium battery.
With eight production lines running at full tilt now, the project supplies more than 260tpd of LFP to battery companies including BYD and CATL.
The first phase of the industrial park reached full capacity in September 2022 and the second phase has now completed construction. The project is expected to generate annual production value of over RMB30 billion (USD4.18 billion) and create more than 1,000 jobs.
