Sichuan GCL's 360ktpy LFP project begins production

On July 1, the 360,000tpy LFP energy storage material project developed by Sichuan GCL Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. commenced production in Meishan, Sichuan. As the largest energy storage material project in Meishan, it is also the only LFP project using physical dry process in the industry.
The project took only eight months to start trial production since construction began. The project consists of three phases, including a production line with annual capacity of 120,000t of LFP in the first phase. The second phase with capacity of 160,000tpy is expected to break ground in the second half of this year.
