Binhai Energy to acquire 100% stake in Xiangfu New Energy

Binhai Energy announced on May 22 that it plans to acquire 100% equity interest in Inner Mongolia Xiangfu New Energy Co., Ltd. for RMB39.88 million (USD5.66 million) as it moves to advance the strategy transition to new energy materials sector.
Established in December 2022, Xiangfu New Energy is primarily engaged in the production and sale of anode materials for lithium battery (backend product), graphite and carbon products. The company's 100,000tpy lithium battery anode material project is currently under construction and is expected to achieve production of 40,000t in 2023 and 60,000t in 2024.
