NEA: China sees 9.7% increase in installed power capacity in Jan-Apr

The data released by China's National Energy Administration (NEA) on May 19 reflected that by the end of April, the country's installed power capacity increased by 9.7% year on year to 2,650GW in total.
In the given period, China's installed non-fossil energy capacity went up by 17.0% year on year to 1,350GW and accounted for about 50.8% of the total installed capacity, 3.1 percentage points higher than a year earlier. Among them, installed wind capacity increased by 12.2% to about 380GW and installed solar capacity increased by 36.6% to 440GW, both on a year-on-year basis.
