China to enforce 6b-stage vehicle emission standards from Jul 1 on

Recently, five Chinese ministries including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) jointly issued a notice on enforcing China VI vehicle emission standards, deciding that from July 1, 2023 on across the country the 6b-stage vehicle emission standards will come into force, and automobiles not matching the 6b-stage standards are prohibited from be produced, imported, and sold.
