JISCO Hongxing's steel product sales up by 9% YOY in Q1

According to the report released recently by JISCO Hongxing, the company produced about 7,808,000t, 9,010,400t and 8,881,400t of iron, steel and steel products in 2022 respectively and sold 8,891,500t of steel products at the same time. In particular, the company's stainless steel product output went down by about 28.76% to 687,600t and the sales of the material declined by around 27.29% to 698,600t.
In the first quarter of 2023, the company's output of steel products decreased slightly by about 0.4% YOY to 2,674,200t, while the sales rose by nearly 9% to 2,187,400t. Specifically speaking, the company's output and sales of stainless steel product dropped by around 8.5% and 10.3% YOY to 216,800t and 185,600t respectively.
The company plans to produce 7,600,000t of pig iron, 9,010,000t of steel (including 940,000t of stainless steel), 8,830,000t of steel product (including 880,000t of stainless steel product) in 2023.
