Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone to build 22 rare earth projects

On April 8, contracts for 22 rare earth projects with a total investment of 5.15 billion yuan (749 million US dollars) were signed at the signing ceremony of 2023 rare earth industry projects in Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone.
The projects involve fields such as rare earth functional materials, permanent magnet motors, and technological innovation platforms, including the 50,000tpy high-performance NdFeB rapid solidification alloy of Inner Mongolia Northern Rare Earth Magnetic Materials Co., Ltd., and the 2,000tpy high-performance NdFeB magnet materials and high-precision deep processing project of Ningbo Xinlin Magnetic Industry Co., Ltd.
