Ganfeng Lithium's Argentina-based project goes into pilot production

Ganfeng Lithium stated recently that the pilot plant of its Argentina-based PPG salt lake project produced first batch of lithium carbonate products successfully. The company plans to complete further technical upgrading by the end of April to lift its daily output to around 700kg.
With total resources of around 11.06 million tons of lithium carbonate equivalent, the PPG project has a designated annual production capacity of 50,000t of lithium carbonate and is expected to go into formal production in 2026.
