Zangge Mining: Zangqing Funding to acquire 5% stake in Tibet National Energy Mining

Zangge Mining announced on March 22 that it has been informed by Zangqing Funding that an agreement was reached between Zangqing Funding and Dongyi Capital, whereby Zangqing Funding would exercise its preemptive right to acquire 5% stake in Tibet National Energy Mining Development Co., Ltd. from Dongyi Capital for RMB600 million (USD87.73 million) in cash. Tibet National Energy Mining holds mining rights in Jiezechaka Salt Lake and Longmucuo Salt Lake, two lithium and boron-rich mining areas in Rutog, Tibet.
Zangge Mining said the transaction would help to further expand its lithium carbonate production capacity.
