On March 16, it was learned from Yantai Port, a port in Shandong Province, that up to now, the bonded transit volume of mixed iron ore to Japan and South Korea in this port has exceeded 30 million tons.
Yantai Port and Vale of Brazil jointly carried out the iron ore blending business in 2015, and launched the bonded transit business of mixed iron ore to Japan and South Korea in 2017. In 2022, the port completed iron ore blending for 9.87 million tons, and the throughput of mixed iron ore for transit to Japan and South Korea ranked first among Chinese ports.
