60ktpy basic lithium salt project to be built in Deyang, Sichuan

On March 7 in Deyang, Sichuan, the administration committee of Deyang-Aba Eco-economy Industrial Park signed an agreement with China International Heat Energy Engineering Company on the 60,000tpy basic lithium salt project.
According to the agreement, a total of RMB10 billion (USD1.45 billion) will be invested into the project for constructing 30,000tpy lithium carbonate, 30,000tpy lithium hydroxide production equipment and other cathode material production lines as well as matching facilities. The project is the third project with investment reaching RMB10 billion (USD1.45 billion) in the Park since operation.
