Anshan City and Ansteel Group sign large cooperation orders of RMB12 billion

Currently, Anshan City and Ansteel Group signed projects on mining and dressing in the eastern mining area and the production of electrical steel for new energy vehicles, with a total planned investment of RMB12.063 billion (USD1.747 billion).
The joint production capacity improvement project of mining and dressing in the eastern mining area signed this time adopts domestic advanced technology to synchronously upgrade and transform the beneficiation system in a large-scale, intelligent, efficient and green way, with a total increase of 24 million tons of iron ore and 8 million tons of iron concentrate per year. The electric steel production project for new energy vehicles is the first electric steel production line project for new energy vehicles in Northeast China, mainly including the new construction of continuous annealing unit (AA1), non-oriented high grade 20-roller rolling mill and normalized pickling unit of cold rolled silicon steel plant as well as other projects.
