Guangxi obtains new achievements in geological prospecting

Recently, Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development of Guangxi held a working conference for 2023. In 2022, the bureau submitted three new metal ore producing areas for reserve review, including 65,080t of bauxite, 15,997,900t of manganese carbonate, 161.63t of silver, 308.09kg of gold, 25,400t of lead and zinc, and 15.78t of gallium.
The new round of prospecting implemented eight exploration projects of sedimentary and accumulative bauxite in Baise and Chongzuo areas, and it is preliminarily estimated that 64,938,500t of sedimentary bauxite and 1,858,500t of accumulative bauxite will be added. The general survey project of clay-type lithium ore in Luosha mining area of Leye County preliminarily estimated that the inferred resource of clay-type lithium oxide is 43,100t, and the potential resource is 66,900t.
