On January 13, Shenghe Resources announced that its controlled subsidiary Sichuan Leshan Kebairui New Materials Co., Ltd. completed construction of the 6,000tpy rare earth metal technology upgrading project and put it into operation recently. With the project going into operation, the company's annual rare earth metal production capacity grows by 6,000t, enabling Ebian county to become the largest rare earth metal production base in Sichuan province.
