Hengtron Nanotech's 5ktpy LMFP project comes on stream

On January 9, the production line with a capacity of 5,000tpy of lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) owned by Jiangsu Hengtron Nanotech Co., Ltd. formally went into operation. Phase one of the project is located in Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang, China. With total investment of RMB300 million (USD44.31 million), the project is able to produce 5,000t of LMFP cathode material annually and is expected to achieve annual sales of RMB800 million (USD118 million).
On the same day, Hengtron Nanotech struck a deal to supply 2,000t of LMFP to Phylion for a year, and the two sides will continue to cooperate on the R&D, production and sales of LMFP.
