Dcenti to invest RMB2 billion in used Li-ion battery recycling and high-Ni NCA/NCM Li-battery precursor project

On August 7, Dcenti announced that its fully owned subsidiary Guangong Dcenti New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. signed an letter of investment intent with government of Xinhui district, Jiangmen city, Guangdong province. Dcenti New Materials Technology plans to construct a 50,000tpy used Li-ion battery electrode powder recycling and reutilization and 50,000tpy high-Ni NCA/NCM Li-battery precursor project in the district. Total planned investment is RMB2 billion (USD0.30 billion), consisting of RMB800 million (USD118 million) for phase one and RMB1,200 million (USD178 million) for phase two.
