Suining Xinshenghai Material breaks ground on 120ktpy LFP project

On July 20, Suining Xinshenghai Material Technology Co., Ltd. broke ground on its 120,000tpy lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material project inside the Shehong Economic Development Zone in Sichuan, China.
With total planned investment of RMB1.8 billion (USD266 million), the two-phase project will construct factory, production line and associated facility to realize capacity of 120,000tpy of LFP, including 60,000tpy for the first phase. When fully operational, the project is expected to generate annual production value of nearly RMB7 billion (USD1.03 billion), along with tax revenue of RMB200 million (USD29.54 million).
