Changzhou BTR's 50,000tpy high nickel ternary cathode material project realizes mass production

On July 18th, the mass production ceremony for the "lithium battery high-nickel ternary cathode material project" which was jointly funded by BTR, EVE and SK on was held in Changzhou. The project, with a designed capacity of 50,000tpy of high-nickel ternary cathode material for lithium ion batteries, saw first batch of products on June 29. In the second half of 2022, the construction of production line 2 and 3 would be completed so as to achieve the production capacity of 10,000 tons and output value of 3 billion yuan (444 million US dollars). Meanwhile, the design of production line 4 and 5 will be carried out.
