China Power Battery Alliance: China's power battery production up by 124.1% YOY in Apr

On May 11, China Automobile Power Battery Industrial Innovate Alliance publicized China's power battery statistics in April 2022. Statistics show that in April China's power battery production was 29.0GWh, up by 124.1% YOY and down by 26.1% MOM. In April, China's LNCMO battery production was 10.3GWh, up by 53.5% YOY and down by 33.9% MOM, and accounting for 35.5% of the total production; and LFP battery production was 18.6GWh, up by 200.7% YOY and down by 21.0% MOM, and accounting for 64.3% of the total production.
In the first four months of 2022, China's power battery production totaled 129.6GWh, up by 183.5% YOY. In particular, from January to April China's LNCMO battery production totaled 48.3GWh, up by 97.2% YOY and accounting for 37.4% of the total production; and LFP battery production totaled 81.0GWh, up by 283.1% YOY and accounting for 62.6% of the total production.
