On May 9, Tianqi Lithium announced its strategic partnership with CALB and its subsidiary Chengdu Tianqi also signed a lithium carbonate supply agreement with CALB on the same day.
Tianqi Lithium said the strategic partnership with CALB will focus on the cooperation on the investment and R&D of battery cells, battery materials, new materials, lithium carbonate, lithium ore and so on.
According to the supply agreement, Chengdu Tianqi will supply battery-grade lithium carbonate to CALB in batches from June to December 2022 with specific sales volume subject to the agreement.
