Total production value of 38 Baotou rare earth enterprises up by 168.3% YOY in Jan-Feb

From January to February 2022, 38 above-designated-size rare earth enterprises located in Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Industrial Development Zone achieved an accumulated industrial production value of RMB7.23 billion (USD1.14 billion), up by 168.3% on a year-to-year basis.
In terms of enterprise category, enterprises in three categories including raw materials, new materials and end applications achieved production values of RMB4.87 billion (USD0.76 billion), RMB1.97 billion (USD0.31 billion) and RMB385 million (USD60.45 million) respectively, up by 380.1%, 57.3% and -9.6% YOY respectively, and the production value of raw material enterprises hit a new high over recent years. Of new material enterprises, magnet material, hydrogen-storing material and polishing material enterprises achieved production value of RMB1.85 billion (USD0.29 billion), RMB65 million (USD10.21 million) and RMB60 million (USD9.42 million) respectively.
