Hengyi Lithium Energy's phase one high-rate Li-ion battery project starts production

On February 6, the commissioning ceremony for the phase one of Henan Hengyi Lithium Energy's high-rate Li-ion battery project was held at Xinhua District High-tech Industrial Park in Pingdingshan city.
The project will be constructed in two phases with total investment of RMB1.5 billion (USD236 million), including RMB500 million (USD78.65 million) for phase one and RMB1 billion (USD157 million) for phase two. The phase one of the project will have a production capacity of 1.6 million high-rate Li-ion batteries per day with annual output value to reach RMB500 million (USD78.65 million), and the phase two is designed to produce 3.5 million high-rate Li-ion batteries a day with an expected annual output value of nearly RMB1.2 billion (USD189 million).
