Data released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on July 9th indicated that China's power battery output was 15.2GWh in June 2021, up by 184.3% YOY and 10.2% MOM; the power battery sales were 12.0GWh, an increase of 131.0% from the year earlier; the power batteries that were installed in the vehicles were 11.1GWh, up by 136.2% YOY and 13.8% MOM, keeping the rapid growth.
China's total power battery output reached 74.7GWh in the first half of 2021, up by 217.5% compared with the figure in the same period of last year; the power battery sales were 58.2GWh, up by 173.6% YOY; the power batteries that were installed in the vehicles were 52.5GWh, rising by 200.3% YOY.
