China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology commences construction of Jiangsu-based stage three project

On February 26, China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology commenced construction of its Jiangsu-based stage three 23GWh project.
Since August 2015 in Jintan county, Jiangsu province, China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology built stage one, stage two Li battery projects as well as its research institute and pilot scale production facilities. To cash in on development opportunities, the company pumped another RMB23.5 billion (USD3.64 billion) into building stage three and four projects.
It is reported that in 2021 the company's production capacities under operation, in construction and just going to construction total 100GWh. During the Fourteenth Five-year Period (2021-2025), the company plans to expand its total production capacity to excel 200GWh and also to extent its prints into overseas markets with a view to making itself into a global leading role in the Li power battery field.
