SVOLT Energy's cobaltless cathode material comes off line

Recently, the world's first 10t of cobaltless cathode material came off production lines at SVOLT Energy's Changzhou plant. This kind of material is a core component for producing the company's cobaltless battery. SVOLT Energy plans to commence mass production of its first batch of cobaltless batteries in June 2021.
In December 2020, SVOLT Energy completed equipment installing and commissioning of phase one 5,000tpy cathode material project of the Changzhou plant, and then put it into formal operation. In January 2021, the plant commenced production of cobaltless cathode material and just recently completed the 10t-level trial production.
