China's chrome ore imports down by 24.8% YOY in Sep

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 13 Nov 20 - According to statistics from China Customs, China imported 1,129,248mt of chrome ore in September 2020, up by 1.0% from last month and down by 24.8% from a year ago.
In September 2020, China imported 938,897mt of chrome ore from South Africa, up by 12.7% from the previous month and down by 24.2% compared with last September; it imported 60,860mt from Zimbabwe, up by 58.0% MOM and 32.4% YOY; it imported 52,386mt from Turkey, a decrease of 29.3% from August and 23.5% from the same period of last year.
