Indian government invites bids for 1,000 electric vehicles

It's reported that the Indian government has released its bids for 1,000 electric vehicles and this is the first time for the Indian government to make this kind of bids in the recent two years.
The Indian EESL is seeking to buy 1,000 electric vehicles with a range of at least 180 kilometers. The department first issued such bids in 2017. The electric vehicle manufacturers participating in the bids will be required to provide a six-year warranty and an additional six-year service.
