Far East First renamed as Far East Battery

Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd., a listed company under Far East Group, announced on December 25th that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Far East First New Energy Co., Ltd. (Far East First), changed its name to Jiangxi Far East Battery Co., Ltd. (Far East Battery), under the approval of Yichun Administration Approval Department, in order to upgrade its brand. The new business license was obtained on December 24th.
Founded on July 29th, 2017, Jiangxi Far East Battery has registered capitals of RMB303 million (USD43.34 million), focusing on R&D, design, manufacturing, processing, sales and services related to lithium-ion batteries, lithium-ion power batteries (packs), lithium-ion energy storage batteries (packs), new-type batteries, battery materials and others.
Data from its official website shows that Far East Battery saw over RMB2 billion (USD286 million) of sales in 2017 and can produce more than 1.2 million 18650 cylindrical lithium-ion batteries per day now. Its current production scale of power batteries is 100,000 units per year.
