Yongxing Material secures mining right on lithium ores

On the evening of December 8, Yongxing Material announced that its subsidiary Jiangxi Yongxing Special Steel New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("Yongxing New Energy") and Yifeng Huaqiao Yongtuo Mining Co., Ltd. ("Huaqiao Yongtuo") signed with Yifeng Huaqiao Mining Co., Ltd. ("Huaqiao Mining") and Yichun Mining Co., Ltd. a share acquirement agreement on Huaqiao Yongtuo, Upon completion of this share acquirement, Yongxing New Energy will have a 70% stake in Huaqiao Yongtuo and Huaqiao Mining will be the fully-owned subsidiary of Huaqiao Yongtuo. Huaqiao Mining has been granted with the mining license on Huashan porcelain stone mine located in Baishi village, Huaqiao town, Yifeng county.
The Huashan porcelain stone mine has a licensed mining area of 1.8714km2 and an annual production capacity of 1 million tons. By April 30, 2019, the mine has 45.0730 million tons of indicated (332) and inferred (333) resources in total.
The mine has ceramic clay ores whose main components include quarts, albite and muscovite, as well as zinnwaldite, cassiterite and lepidolite. Cassiterite is the mineral raw material for Yongxing New Energy to produce Li-batteries.
At present, Yongxin Material is advancing its 10,000tps battery-grade lithium carbonate project which consists of two production lines with each having a designed production capacity of 5,000t. One of the lines has entered continuous production status and maintains an average daily output of 15t now.
