Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics to build cylindrical power battery application platform

Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics Co., Ltd. announced at noon of November 1 that it signed a cooperation agreement on battery with Ankao (Suzhou) Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ankao Energy) on October 31. Both sides will utilize respective advantages to build a cylindrical power battery application platform which can lead the development direction of cylindrical battery and has the industry influence at home and abroad.
According to the agreement, both sides will jointly invest in pilot-scale production lines of 32 series cylindrical battery products (ternary material/lithium manganese oxide material/lithium iron phosphate) to promote R&D and mass production. They will construct a joint-venture production company of battery 32135 with an annual capacity of 2GWh based on the market exploration situation after the trial production of 32 series battery succeeds.
