Jiangsu's first lithium battery cascade energy storage station put into operation

On May 22, the lithium battery cascade storage power station of Jiangsu Changneng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd was completed construction and put into operation in Wujin national high-tech zone innovation industrial park. This power station, which uses the old lithium battery updated by electric vehicles to store energy, is the first lithium battery cascade storage power station in Jiangsu province, which is operated by contract energy management. After the completion of the plant, the plant has a total capacity of 10MW. As the gap of industrial electricity price between peak hours of RMB1.1/KWH and off-peak hours of RMB0.3/KMH is large, the storage plant will be charged during off-peak hours and will generate electricity during peak hours with nearly about RMB3 million of electricity fees saved annually.
