On May 16th, the opening ceremony for the establishment of the National Lithium Battery Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the Technology Seminar of Power Battery Test and cascade utilization were held in Zaozhuang of Shandong Province, marking a new stage for the lithium battery supervision and inspection work in the High-tech Zone in Zaozhuang.
As reported, the construction of National Lithium Battery Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shandong) started from October 2010, which was approved by the Shandong Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau in February 2013 and the national-level center was started to be constructed by Zaozhuang High-tech Zone Committee and Zaozhuang Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau after approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision of China in December 2013. The Center obtained dual national-level certifications of CNAS and CMA in November 2016 and successfully passed the site acceptance for production capacity by the General Administration of Quality Supervision in November 2017. Up till now, this Center has been the only national-level statutory inspection body in the national quality supervision system in China.
