Northern Rare Earth plans to build industrial demonstration base of permanent magnet motor intelligent manufacturing

It is reported that Northern Rare Earth plans to invest RMB10 billion in building a national top-ranking motor's core component production base which integrates production, storage and sales, and demonstration base of high-efficiency motor advanced manufacturing to provide powerful foundation and technical support for the reinforcement of its leading upstream suppliers and the expansion of the whole industrial chain. The company will rely on the Green Motor Special Committee and start to operate from key motor parts like magnet steel used in motor, silicon steel, casting and others together with motor plants from downstream market.
According to the notice issued by MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China) on the Recommendation of 2018 Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Project, High-tech Industrial Development Zone has already recommended that Northern Rare Earth apply the project and it will continue to keep track of the project's progress.
