On February 26, MIIT, MOST, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce, AQSIQ and the Bureau of Energy issued the notice of interim measures for the recovery and utilization of power storage batteries for new energy vehicles to strengthen the new energy vehicle power battery recycling management, standardize the industry development. According to the notice, the automobile manufacturers should establish a power storage battery recycling channel, which is used for the recycling of waste power storage batteries. We will encourage automobile production enterprises, battery production enterprises, scrapped automobile recycling and dismantling enterprises and comprehensive utilization enterprises to jointly build and share the recycling channels of waste power batteries through various forms.
